We all need more JOY in the world, right? Well we're in luck, because Joy Macarons has opened a second store in a new Lower Greenville, Texas. Joy Macarons is a speciality bakery handcrafting French macarons, created by Liz, a home baker who fell in love with the visual beauty, delicate texture, and intense flavour of macarons after visiting several iconic patisseries around the world. Motivated by the challenge of these tempermental pastries, Liz has worked diligently for several years to perfect a variety of flavours. Biting into one brings feelings of elation, contentment, happiness, and gratitude – in a word, JOY. The mission is to live up to their name each day by bringing joy to their customers.
The storefront, interior, signage and branding are all designed by Dallas based architect Patrick Craine, inspired by the surrounding activity on Greenville Avenue. The large yellow glass doors and stairs are meant to feel like an extension of the street and sidewalk. Creating an interesting space for customers to come and munch on Macarons while watching all of the activity on the street.
Not only are Joy Macarons visually stunning with a complete colour feast but the flavour combinations are incredibly sophisticated and exotic.
